Why Purefit?

A Purefit Testimonial:   When I started in Purefit, I found it hard to go more than once a week. I had no interest in making any changes in my life. I constantly picked the unhealthy options. It was a vicious circle. I craved all the wrong foods, I never felt good about myself, so ate to make myself feel good. It made me feel worse. I had no energy, no confidence and lacked motivation to make the healthy choices. So when I went to Purefit, I was so nervous and could only manage to go once a week. I always dreaded going but funny enough I felt brilliant after the class. Slowly but surely I went twice a week and did that for a few months. I could feel the changes in my body and I was liking what I was seeing and feeling. Then I took the advice from Fiona and she told me to increase my classes. She knew I was able for it, so I did. She also told me to increase my weights, and suddenly the weight started to drop. I felt amazing. The inches just fell off, I was feeling great. A year later I feel great, it wasn't easy changing my bad habits but Fiona helped me with that too. I have lost so much weight and down a few dress sizes. I never believed it could happen. If anyone is afraid of taking that first step, don't be, it has changed my life and I'm never going back to eating bad food and not exercising. Go on try Purefit, it's my life now.   Purefit Before and After

Purefit's Nutritional guide to Runamuck

Purefit's  Nutritional guide to Runamuck Exercise and Nutrition plays a major role in your preparation for any physical challenge. So ahead of Purefit Galway's #Runamuck Challenge tomorrow here are some tips! If you don’t refuel your body properly what happens next is poor concentration levels, mental alertness goes, fatigue sets in, blood sugar levels drop. In order to stop this from happening, we have to REFUEL, REPAIR, REHYDRATE. So water and nutrition are essential to your performance. The advice I usually give is to eat something before bed which helps refuel from the previous day and pre-fuel for the race the next morning. So just enough to sleep well. My favourite breakfast options: A bowl of porridge with skimmed milk and blueberries A Greek yoghurt and berries 2 egg scrambled with brown bread   Eat the Right Foods - Healthy Eating Plan

Why I need the challenge of a Purefit Plyometric Training Class: Plyometric Training- Why you should train in this class at Purefit

Because I really want results

Because I am tired all the time

Because Capochinos have made their way back into my daily routine.

Because I can “pinch an inch” (or much more) on my waistline.

Because I’ve been lazy.

Because I’ve been watching someone else give it 110%, and I’ve seen their results.

Because it’s almost time for skinny jeans again.

Because the kids are back in school.

Because those Easter eggs and cakes have caught up with me.

Because I am not afraid of a little competition.

Because I’ve come this far.

Because I know I can be a better version of myself.

Because Purefit Plyometrics class thrives with encouragement and motivation

Benefits of Spinning

Why Spinning could be your next class at Purefit Galway

Burn burn calories
A spinning workout of 45 minutes may allow you to burn around 500 calories.
It will help you to build muscle tone which aids in fat burning
Spinning focuses on core and lower body muscles. Shapely legs while getting an ab workout.
Increase cardio endurance
It's a low impact exercise. This means that it won't put pressure on knees and joints, as other aerobic or running exercises do. The workout is also recommended for people that suffer from arthritis.
Efficient stress reliever, upbeat music and varying intensity makes this the ultimate stress buster.
To be part of a team. Great community spirit.
Can be done all year round.
